Really awesome find, I spotted this on google maps and thought we should check it out and I’m glad I did. The food and atmosphere were spot on, felt like a much needed break from the sun to come here and cool down with a beer and great fresh food. We were served by Trevor who’s super friendly and had great recommendations, very helpful. Oh and make sure you get a seat that overlooks the water to see those jumping fish! Didn’t know that was a thing. Will definitely return again on my next visit to St. Pete’s

I did a Google search for 'hole in the wall' seafood, because those those off the beaten path places are usually the best. The Big Catch did NOT disappoint. We ordered a couple of frozen pina coladas and the fried cauliflower for an appetizer. If you have not tried their fried cauliflower, it is an absolute must! I had the Maui tacos and my husband had the shrimp dinner. We talked about this lunch the whole way home. Absolutely wonderful. Shout out to our waitress, Jade. She was delightful.

We loved this place and want them to thrive, but it’s one of those spots I secretly hope no one hears about—just so it keeps its laid-back charm. The Big Catch has that perfect old Florida vibe, with open-air seating, live music, and a waterfront view that makes you feel like you’re on vacation, even if you're just down the street. The seafood is fresh, the drinks are cold, and the atmosphere is unbeatable. We had a couple appitizers, and they was absolutely delicious—seasoned well, cooked perfectly, and full of flavor. Service was friendly and relaxed, just like the setting. If you’re looking for a spot to unwind, enjoy great food, and soak up some local character, this is it. Just don’t tell too many people—we want to keep it special!

One the best mahi mahi fish tacos I've ever had. Love the water front view along the canal.

Sea food was delicious and perfectly cooked. Friendly and inviting atmosphere. Enjoyed everything about it.

Love it! Great ambience. Grouper nuggets knocked me off my chair. Really nice staff. Looking forward to exploring this menu more Oh and I had a blue lemonade cause it’s Sunday and I’m classy

First time bringing in my fresh catch! The sides were delicious and the view is delightful! The hook and cook was pricey compared to SPB restaurants but my friend and I enjoyed the view & the vibe just as much!

I'm so glad we stopped by a casual local type atmosphere. The food was good. it could have been a bit spicier, IMHO. The table was sticky, but that could be a Florida thing. We had the Snapper and grits, snapper w/crayfish sauce next to rice and broccolini.
